Development and key projects of PORR in Poland

PORR is the contractor for many spectacular infrastructure projects such as the rapid renovation of the Łazienkowski Bridge in Warsaw, the impressive Tadeusz Mazowiecki Bridge in Rzeszów, the G2 section of Drogowa Trasa Średnicowa in Gliwice, or the S2 section of the Warsaw Southern Bypass. The Company carried out many hydro-engineering projects, e.g. it was involved in the improvement of flood protection in the Nysa Kłodzka area through the modernisation of the Nysa water reservoir. It was also the contractor for many demanding railway engineering projects.

Since the beginning of PORR's operations in Poland, we have made many key changes so that it can meet the challenges of the future. The Group has been streamlined, its structures reorganised and its work processes optimised. Since April 2017, we have been present on the Polish market as PORR S.A.

The company was formed through the merger of two independent operating companies: PORR Polska Construction S.A., focusing on volume and railway construction projects, and PORR Polska Infrastructure S.A., specialising in the field of infrastructure, energy construction, hydraulic engineering and also engineering. Thanks to this combination, PORR in Poland offers a comprehensive range of services.
