PORR will build retention reservoirs in SÅ‚upsk

Warsaw, 4.08.2023 – The city of Słupsk chose PORR S.A. as the general contractor for the construction of open retention reservoirs at the corner of Zaborowska and Polish Legions Street in Słupsk along with the necessary land development. The task will be performed as part of the project "Rainwater management in the Słupia River catchment area". The task completion time is 110 days, and the contract value is over PLN 7.5 million gross.
As part of the investment, two tanks will be constructed. Reservoir No. 1 will consist of two parts: a wet part, serving as a retention and recreation pond, with a bottom area of 370 m, and a periodically dry one, temporarily storing rainwater and meltwater, with a bottom area of 600 m. Reservoir No. 2 is a periodically dry, retention, infiltration, and storage reservoir. periodically rainwater and meltwater with a bottom area of 405 m.
Additionally, the project will include the construction of: stormwater infrastructure to drain rainwater, access roads, small architecture, low plantings and flower meadows in the form of gardens. The primary goal of the investment is to improve water management in this area of SÅ‚upsk.
